Fall Team Selections

Hi Avonworth Soccer Families,

This past Monday, our Board of Directors spent an evening working with ASA’s Travel Soccer Coaches to help select our 2022 Fall Travel Teams.  Building our teams is something we take very seriously in order to best provide players with a team and league most closely matching the level of skill for each player.  Travel soccer has three main leagues; D4-D6 with D4 being the most competitive.  We attempt to find the correct league for each team with the goal being that a team likely finishes .500 in the correct league.  In building our teams we take into consideration the following:

1. Results of the player assessments
2. Coaching assessments from the prior year
3. Player age

Coaches will be reaching out by Sunday (July 24th) to let you know that team your child(ren) will be playing on in the fall.
